Welcome to the June edition of our product update, where we bring you the latest updates designed to support your teams across Sales, Rental, Service, Parts, Contracts, and more.

This month, we’re excited to share highlights from 58 new features, alongside 22 enhancements and 53 fixes, all focused on helping your teams work faster, smarter, and with less friction.

Whether you’re managing a fleet of rentals, fine-tuning your service workflows, or adding flexibility to your sales process, this release is packed with practical improvements that make your daily grind a whole lot smoother.

Let’s get into what’s new in A365 this month.

Product update: A365 Rental

Loss and damage posting for bulk items

When bulk rental items come back incomplete or beyond repair, the last thing you want is a messy manual workaround. Now, you don’t have to.

  • The old “Sell Device” function is now simply “Sell”, and it works for bulk items too
  • The system automatically updates the line status to Sold, logs the sell date, and removes the item from rental stock
  • A child order gets created for the sold item with no manual tracking needed

Bulk item losses and damage are now handled cleanly and consistently.

Add multiple contacts to rental orders & quotations

Complex rental orders often involve multiple stakeholders like site managers, transport leads, and project coordinators. Now you can add them all.

  • Add multiple contacts with clear roles (like Transport, Billing, or Site Contact)
  • Roles are fully configurable in Rental setup
  • Contacts linked to Job Sites appear directly on the rental order
  • Transport roles also show up in related transport orders

Everything is visible and organized so your teams can move faster with fewer miscommunications.

Linked rental devices – Attachments & accessories

You can now link rental devices together using the new Linked items menu on the Rental device form. Devices can be set as mandatory, recommended, or optional, just like Linked items.

Once set up, Linked devices behave much like Linked items:

  • A Linked items tab is now visible on the Rental browser, Rental orders, and Allocation forms
  • Add linked item now supports Rental devices
  • Auto-allocation adds mandatory and recommended devices automatically
  • De-allocation removes all linked devices associated with the main Rental device

This makes it easier to manage devices that are commonly rented together, such as attachments and accessories.

Product update: A365 Parts

Setup & conversion for remanufactured items

Sustainability is real, and remanufactured parts are the way forward. Whether it’s engine blocks, alternators, or EV batteries, this release introduces a new, traceable model to manage them from start to finish.

Here’s how it works:

  • You track remanufactured items, refunds, and worn returns as three distinct item types
  • Set clear conversion rules to transform regular parts into remanufactured ones
  • Handle refunds either as standalone order lines or built-in values, depending on your needs
  • Includes mass conversion tools, product templates, and inventory dimension tracking (serial or batch)

This simplifies sustainability and gives you full control over reusable inventory.

And we’re just getting started. Support for further transaction handling, such as sales and returns, will be introduced in future releases.

Purchase remanufactured items with refunds

This gives your purchasing team the flexibility to meet supplier terms without compromising processes.

Product update: A365 Service

Global job types and job categories

If you’re operating across multiple locations or dealer groups, consistency is key. Now you can define Shared Job Types and Job Categories centrally and link local setups to them.

This prepares your system for smarter tools like:

  • Skill-based scheduling
  • Device-based job intake

While automatic sync of local jobs isn’t live yet, this lays a solid foundation for scalable, organized service operations.

Appointment creation from scheduled services

Service Managers and Advisors can now create appointments directly from scheduled services using preconfigured defaults.

  • Appointment details like customer, device, and type are pulled in automatically
  • The status of the scheduled service updates automatically when the appointment is completed or canceled

This makes scheduling smoother and connects planning with real-world execution.

Mechanics can add jobs, items, and operations

This improves job documentation, speeds up service, and keeps workflows flowing.

Event triggers on mechanic forms

For developers and partners, we’ve introduced event hooks for key mechanic actions including:

  • Clock In and Clock Out
  • Complete My Work
  • Complete Order

You can now trigger custom workflows, validations, or logic based on these actions using low-code, no-code, or full-code approaches.

Product update: A365 Sales

Convert prospect to customer from Dataverse

Sales teams can now convert prospects into customers directly from the Deal form without needing to jump into F&O.

  • The Customer Group field is visible for quick validation
  • A new “Convert to Customer” button kicks off the backend process
  • F&O handles the update, and you’re ready to move forward

This makes the sales close smoother and faster.

Add custom items to deal accessories

This gives sales teams the flexibility they need without compromising data integrity.

Contracts

Revenue deferral for contracts & rental orders

Revenue needs to be deferred in cases such as quarterly or annual invoicing, where recognition should occur monthly over the term of the contract (e.g., over a quarter or a year), ensuring alignment with the actual delivery of services or incurrence of costs. This update brings deferral logic into contract and rental invoicing using the Subscription Billing module.

  • Set up deferral templates at the invoicing period level
  • Revenue is deferred based on item setup and period configuration
  • Sales orders generated from periodic invoices inherit the deferral settings

This ensures better alignment between revenue recognition and actual delivery.
