From improved inventory visibility to easier handling of deposits and service updates, the May release is filled with enhancements that make everyday tasks smoother and more accurate, so you can spend less time on workarounds and more time driving results.
Let’s take a look at what’s new in A365 this month.
Product update: A365 Sales
See company inventory directly in the sales catalog
By surfacing stock availability where you’re already working, this update helps sales teams respond to customer needs faster and with more confidence.
Default storage dimensions based on business operation
This enhancement introduces smarter logic for defaulting warehouse and site values in sales processes tailored to how your business is structured.
- Choose whether to use defaults from the logged-in user or the sales responsible
- When quotes originate from Deals in Dataverse, defaults reflect the linked Business Operation
- Built-in fallback logic ensures accuracy even in complex setups
This change minimizes manual entry and ensures consistency across sales workflows.
Product update: A365 Rental
Deposits for rental orders
Managing deposits no longer needs to be a manual process. This update introduces a structured and built-in way to set up, calculate, and manage deposits for rental orders.
- Configure deposit groups and payment methods by customer or group
- Deposits are calculated automatically based on your rate setup
- A new Customer Deposit form lets you register, process, and repay deposits
- Deductions for damages and final invoice settlement are now supported
This end-to-end deposit flow adds clarity and control to your rental process and helps teams work faster and more accurately.
View rental availability across locations
Whether you’re coordinating equipment across branches or checking options for a customer, this update helps your team plan with confidence.
Product update: A365 Service
Filter service offerings by device range
Service bookings are now more precise with new options to define which services apply to which equipment.
- Set up Device Ranges that link specific services to eligible devices
- Use the new Exclusive flag to restrict certain services to standalone bookings
- Limit visibility with active date ranges for promotions or seasonal services
This gives service managers more flexibility and ensures customers see only what’s relevant to them.
Add additional operations during service review
Things don’t always go exactly as planned and now you can capture that reality with ease.
- Advisors can add extra operations directly from the Service Appointment review tab
- The system handles job creation, technician assignment, and quantity updates automatically
Whether it’s a late-discovered issue or extra work completed during the visit, this feature helps you reflect the full scope of the job without starting over.
Add items during service review
This helps teams keep service records complete and reduces the risk of missed charges.
Product update: A365 Leasing
Control invoicing end dates based on returns
Lease contracts don’t always follow a perfect timeline and now invoicing can adjust accordingly.
- New parameters let you choose whether the Return request date or the actual Return date sets the invoicing end date
- Prevents premature billing closure when contracts extend beyond the expected return
It’s a small but impactful update that helps keep leasing records and financials aligned.
Platform update
Support for remanufactured item indicators
It’s a foundational update that will help teams better manage inventory classification going forward.
